TOM DAVIES PRESS DINNER 2018_
On 21 November 2018 Tom Davies hosted a dinner to celebrate one year since his Covent Garden store opened.
Tom was joined by Jo Elvin, Susannah Constantine, Andy Morris and many more guests, to celebrate the milestone.
Tom hosted the dinner in our flagship Covent Garden store, in the heart of the Royal Opera Arcade.Guests were met with the Covent Garden festive store window display that has been transformed into a magical wonderland to resemble the world of Narnia.
The evening started with live demonstrations of bespoke frames being handcrafted by one of the Tom Davies apprentices from the London factory who showcased the skills he has learnt over the year.
Waiters served three distinctive courses catered by catered by the renowned restaurant Balthazar. The menu was a traditional British meal with a twist - inspired by dishes from Tom’s childhood. For the main course, Tom’s vision was transformed into reality by the Balthazar team who provided the guests with a a real showstopper. This featured a 50 centimetres tall mountain of sausages and mash named the ‘Best Meal Ever’ inspired by Beano classic comics.
Champagne was provided by Perrier-Jouët and whisky to end the night provided by The Glenlivet.
